A world free of domestic violence, homelessness, poverty, and trauma, where individuals and communities are safe, stable, and thriving.
Mission
To empower individuals, families, and communities, particularly communities of color and other disenfranchised populations, to end cycles of violence, homelessness, poverty, and trauma by increasing safety and resiliency.
Legal Hand
Legal Hand provides information and assistance to Visitors to help them resolve problems before they become court cases, and empowers Visitors to help themselves.
Our Volunteers are neighbors helping neighbors. Many of our Volunteers know someone who has been through similar situations to our Visitors, or have been through it themselves.
Legal Hand is also engaged in community outreach and conducts workshops at community events on Know-Your-Rights sessions and establishes relationships with local community-based organizations.
